It was the proprietors daughter, Geraldine who made the stay worthwhile for us. She went out of her way to go the extra mile to make us welcome. She was happy to spend that little bit of extra time to talk to us about the town, she lent me her laptop to change all my passwords, following having my phone stolen and showed us the whacky Rock and Roll room, a real treat for music fans. The personal approach for me is what differentiates the hotel chains from the local family run establishment.Really well positioned for the sights.
Bit noisy on a Friday night, but then maybe the payoff is the central location

The hotel's central location makes it a perfect choice for exploring the old town and visiting key sites. The staff were friendly and provided helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and parking options. The rooms were bright and clean, and we appreciated the attention to detail, such as the terrace and breakfast area.
Room could benefit from better ventilation and additional storage space.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The staff welcomed us warmly and provided great guidance on parking and nearby restaurants. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the historic center and within walking distance to key sites in the city. We especially enjoyed being near the market square, which was a nice spot to visit in the evening. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a lovely bar and breakfast area. The room, although small, had everything we needed, including a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed for our teenager.
Nothing not to love.

Very friendly staff with good English, they allowed us to park our bicycles in their crowded garage.at the back. Great location. WiFi worked perfectly in our 3rd floor rooms with no access codes. We had two rooms, room 304 was excellent with new modern fittings. Breakfast was lovely.
Room 305 was clean but very very tired. The bathroom was a bit dirty 'looking', but that was just the age of it. I am certain it was clean. I felt that the continental breakfast was expensive at 11 euros, however there was a good selection of food to keep you going.

The room was decorated in a modern and slightly preschool style, which was impressive to look at. The hotel is conveniently located near the market square, making it easy to explore in the evening. We also appreciated the glorious shower in the room. Despite the lack of air conditioning and coffee making kit, the staff at Urban Style De L'Europe were accommodating and provided a fan upon request. The location of the hotel was perfect for our short visit to Rouen, with easy access to restaurants and parking. The individual style of the hotel was refreshing and we enjoyed the unique and charming décor. we would recommend this hotel for its location and friendly service.

Friendly service and excellent breakfast.
Parking was very difficult, as the underground car park is hard to find, even with sat-nav, and the entrance is very narrow.

The couple who run it are friendly and efficient. Also it is within a short walk to the old town where there are many restaurants. By mistake I had booked for just one night but they were able to accommodate us for an extra night which was very good.
Although I had asked for a quiet room at the very top, we were given a room on the third floor (total of 5 floors) facing the street. So it was very noisy and because of the sudden heat (31°C) could not sleep with the window open. After requesting to have a quieter room, the next day, we were shown two more rooms on the 5th floor and we chose to move to one of them (waste of time packing and unpacking) on a 2 day stay. Breakfast was good as there was a fine choice but they did not have any decafinated coffee. Fortunately I travel with my own.

Excellent location close to historic center. Room was good as was bathroom. Didn't take breakfast.
It was said when we entered the hotel that it is strictly forbidden to eat in the room, didn't hear about such a thing in other places in France or around the world. You can't go to patisserie and bring all this small cookies home? Hotel is a little bit expensive. In addition you should pay for parking not 7 euro as it was written, but about 9 euro per day.

The staff really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Someone on staff had forgotten that we'd need a cot for our child so, to make up for their oversight, they gave us an extra single room at no charge, Breakfast was fantastic.
